Abstract

Protective surface films are produced on articles made of, or coated with, cadmium and cadmium alloys by the process described in the parent Specification, the materials used for producing the treating solutions also being the same as those set out in the parent Specification. Cadmium alloys containing not less than 85 per cent. of cadmium, the remainder copper and/or aluminium are referred to.
