A roundabout, which may be adapted to carry passengers, comprises a track, having two or more convolutions of which one 12 is connected to another 13 by a bridge 14, mounted on a rockable structure so that vehicles or rolling or sliding objects placed on the track will travel round the track as it is rocked. Alternatively objects may be suspended from a track. The track 1, Figs. 1, 2 comprises a platform 10 with ribs 11 and has a support 16 on which it may be rocked by handle 18 to cause vehicles 19 to travel round it. The track may comprise rails 27, Fig. 5 mounted on a framework of beams 26 extending from a disc 25 mounted on a spindle 30 rotated through bevel gears 32, 33 and shaft 34 by a handle 35. A cylinder secured to the underside of disc 25 engages an eccentric 36 on spindle 30 so that as the spindle is turned the track is rocked. Means may be provided to prevent the disc from rotating. In a similar arrangement, Fig. 8, a spindle 40 carries a ball 41 with which the centre of the track structure forms a universal joint. A motor 49 drives a shaft 34 which carries a gear wheel 44 meshing with gearing 45 on a disc 46 which supports a cylinder 37. Cylinder 37 may carry wheels 48 which engage the underside of the track system. The track may comprise rails 53 from which cars 55 are suspended by trolleys 56, Fig. 11. The vehicles may be held on a track 57, Figs. 12, 13, by a central rail 58 of angle section which is engaged by wheels 62, 63 carried by the vehicle.
