1503455 Toys TOMY KOGYO CO 1NC 23 Nov 1976 [27 Nov 1975] 48807/76 Heading A6S A toy locomotive 12, Fig. 1, and wagon 14 run around a track 10, the wagon carrying a doll 21 having a freely rotatable ball 76, Fig. 7, in its base, until a sideways extending pin 73, Fig. 2, on the wagon runs up a ramp 72 (see also Fig. 4) on a track section 70, thus tilting the wagon sideways. The doll 21 then rolls sideways off the wagon 14 and down a chute 74 to the foot of a carrier wheel 16 on which are pivoted carriages 18 for dolls 21. Meanwhile, the locomotive 12, &c. continues round the track 10 until another sideways extending pin 78, Fig. 3, on the wagon engages a flange 80 on a structure supporting the wheel 16. The locomotive 12, &c is thus halted, with its rear wheels 26, driven by a spring or electric motor and formed with teeth, engaging gears 30, 30, Fig. 4, extending up through a track section 20', Fig. 1, and driving through a train ofgears, Fig. 5 (not shown), to the carrier wheel 16. The motor of the locomotive 12 now rotates the wheel 16, until a cut-out portion 66, Fig. 6, of the wheel aligns with the gate 76 at the end of the chute 74, allowing the doll 21 to roll through and into one of the carriages 18. The wheel 16 continues to rotate, another doll 21 in another carriage 18 being deposited onto the entrance 104, Fig. 4, at the top of another chute 106, down which it rolls to be deposited onto the wagon 14. The sideways extending pin 78, Fig. 3, engaging the flange 80, is carried by the upper compartment 90 of the wagon 14, which is spring mounted on its base. The weight of the doll 21 deposited into the wagon 14 forces its upper compartment 90 down on its spring mounting, releasing the pin 78 from the flange 80, and the locomotive 12, &c is freed to move off once more round the track 10.
