699,501. Casting-machines. BAMAGMEGUIN AKT.-GES. March 4, 1952 [May 9, 1951], No. 5608/52. Class 83 (i). [Also in Group XXX] In a casting-machine, particularly for pig iron, having chill moulds 7 arranged between two chains running over stationary rollers 1, the chain links 2 have plates 4 to screen the pivots 10 from hot metal when pouring, and pairs of extensions 6 for receiving the moulds, connected together. These connections may be rigid bars 9 and the outer parts of the plates 4 may have ledges 5 to guide the chains laterally.
