The Specification discloses a continuouscasting machine identical with that of Specification 696,510, the claims being directed to the upper, stationary mould-part having a length sufficient merely to ensure that the billet cast has solidified enough to retain its shape when supported from beneath by the moving floor of the mould. Specification 465,595 also is referred to.
