Class 51(i) A steam generator in which are arranged one or more tube walls by which the products of combustion are divided into separate gas streams, is characterized in that the tube walls are arranged in such a manner that the gas streams rising from the front part of the grate, after being deflected by the tube walls, impinge against gas streams rising from the rear part of the grate.
