Abstract

698,759. Ventilators. AKTIEBOLAGET SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN. May 11 1951 [May 11, 1950], No. 11168/51. Class 137 Ventilator grilles 8 are located in frames 3 disposed in openings in a wall &c. 1 by means of the interengagement of rigid and resilient members 5, 6 on opposite sides of the grille with toothed stampings on the inside surface of the frame. The grille is released for cleaning &c. by transverse movement to compress the resilient member sufficiently to disengage the rigid member 5 from the teeth 4. To secure the frame in an opening in a plate a rail welded to the outside surface of the frame may have a raised portion abutting the rear of the plate and an extension which is bent round the edge of the opening.
