Abstract

An anti-corrosive paint is formed by grinding a mixture of natural hydrogels with a vehicle comprising a silicone resin solution. Natural hydrogels specified are aluminium, iron and silicic acid hydrogels, e.g. laterit, while drying oils such as wood oil stand oils may also be present. Specified solvents are turpentine substitute, benzines and benzols.ALSO:An anti-corrosive paint is formed by grinding a mixture of natural hydrogels with a vehicle. The natural hydrogels specified are aluminium, iron and silicic acid hydrogels, e.g. Laterit, while drying oils, e.g. linseed oil and wood oil, lacquers and resin solutions or mixtures thereof, may be used as the vehicle, together with solvents such as turpentine substitute, benzines and benzols.
