Abstract
In the method of recovering high purity titanium by forming titanium tetraiodide and thermally decomposing the tetraiodide, a positively directed stream of the tetraiodide is contacted with a heated body. The stream may be produced by mechanical or thermal means. Specifications 675,571, 698,232, 698,233, 698,234 and 698,235 are referred to.
