[Also in Group XXXI] A manual executive lever 21, operating the usual busbar lever 29 of a fluid-driven Wilson gear on a tractor, to establish changes preselected by a manual lever 9 linked to the usual selector-arm 19, has a spring-loaded slotted pickup connection 77, 81, with the engine-throttle linkage 57, 71, whereby complete forward and backward operation of the executive lever 21 also closes and re - opens the enginethrottle 71 to prevent racing during a shift. The normal hand-throttle control 31 is unaffected by this movement. Specification 353,108 is referred to.
