Abstract

A liquid composition which hardens on heating comprises 37 per cent of a vinyl resin such as vinyl chloride or a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, 24 per cent of a resinous plasticizer such as polybasic acid-polyhydric alcohol esters and styrene polymers, 19 per cent of a chemical plasticizer such as dioctyl, dibutyl and dihexyl phthalates, 9 per cent of a stabilizer such as lead stearate, lead silicate, antimony oxide, lead phosphate, blue lead or mixtures thereof, and 11 per cent of a filler such as calcium carbonate.
