Abstract

695,662. Couplings; supporting cables. THERMOSET APPLIANCES, Ltd., and DOUCE, N. April 22, 1952 [April 30, 1951], No. 10045/51. Classes 36 and 38 (i). [Also in Group XI] A cable is led into an electrically-heated appliance by being moulded into a flat block 1, Fig. 1, of flexible insulating material from which the individual conductors 4 are led separately in suitable directions for connection to the heating element. A grommet 3 may also be moulded in the block. In a modification, Fig. 5, the block 1 has a plug-receiving socket 8 in which are located pins 7 moulded in the block together with their connections to the heating element. A rib 9 on the socket presses on the plug to make a water-tight joint.
