Abstract

<PICT:0694857/IV (a)/1> A flexible rod 26, which is used to make hollow and flat articles by winding (see Group V), is composed of a plasticized cellulose derivative such as a cellulose ester derived from a fatty acid containing 2 to 4 carbon atoms in the molecule, the rod having a convex and a concave surface. The ester may be cellulose propionate, acetate-propionate or acetate-butyrate.
