Abstract

The invention comprises compounds of gentisic acid and 1-phenyl-2,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone or 4-dimethylamino- or 4-isopropyl-1-phenyl-2,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone. The compounds can be prepared by reacting gentisic acid with the above pyrazolones, e.g. in the presence of a solvent such as water, alcohol, acetone, ethyl acetate or benzene. Four examples are given.
