692,982. Electric condensers; mounting terminals. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. March 21, 1952 [April 16, 1951], No. 7380/52. Classes 37 and 38 (i). A condenser 4 or other component is rigidly assembed in a metal case 1 by filling the case with a non-polymerized synthetic resinous filling of ethoxylic type, after the leads have been connected to terminals 2, 3, which are originally fixed directly to the case 1, but after polymerization of the filling compound by heat treatment, are insulated by cutting away the surrounding metal, when the terminals 2, 3 are rigidly held by the polymerized filling compound. A mounting strip may be assembled by screwing to the filling compound.
