Abstract
923,564. Capacitors. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. April 7, 1961 [April 8, 1960], No. 12640/61. Addition to 898,582. Class 37. An electrical component, e.g. a capacitor enclosed in a protective coating and metallic side strips as set forth in the parent Specification is first enclosed in a cover of metal foil, e.g. roughened aluminium, which may be covered with a casting synthetic resin on the sides facing the component. A foil stamping 1 (Fig. 1) is folded round each component, one lead of which passes through aperture 2 and the other passes through overlapping slots 3, and plural components are placed between metallic strips 4 (Fig. 2) in clamping frames for the introduction in vacuo of a molten synthetic casting resin, after which the components are separated by sawing. The leads 7 are insulated by a surrounding layer of insulating resin or by insulating distance pieces.
