691,723. Rail - vehicle undercarriages. SCHWEIZERISCHE LOKOMOTIVUND MASCHINENFABRIK. Feb. 15, 1952 [April 5, 1951], No. 4115/52. Class 103 (vi). A bogie centralizing device comprises a rocking lever 9 which is connected to the bogie by the rod 20 and which is urged into contact with the fixed pins 10 by a spring 12 acting on a bifurcated link 16 pivoted at 18 to the bifurcated link 17 connected to the rocking lever 9 at 19. When the link 16 swings sufficiently to contact the stops 21 the pivots 18 arc axially coincident with one of the pins 10 so that further movement of the rod 20 will cause the lever 9 and the link 17 to move about this axis without any restraint from the spring 12. The spring means may also be disposed on the side of the pins 10 remote from the apex of the rocking lever 9.
