691,429. Valves. GROHE, F., [trading as GROHE, F. (FIRM OF)]. March 2, 1951 [June 3, 1949], No. 5176/51. Class 135 In a valve for bath equipment in which controlled hot and cold supplies pass to shower or bath outlets 8, 5. respectively, the outlets are controlled by a shuttle valve 9 having sealing ends 11 entering the outlets and manually actuated by a lever 15 transverse to the valve axis having a ball fulcrum 12 pressed against a sealing ring and a forked end 14 entering recesses in the valve member substantially at its position of balance. The valve member has an axial passage controlled at the top by a valve 17 spring-loaded to open to allow water in the pipe 8 to pass to the outlet 5 when the shower outlet is closed. but closed when the supply pressure acts in the shower outlet.
