Class 118 (ii) [Also in Group XXXIX] An ultrasonic transducer comprises both X-cut and Y-cut crystals 5, 4 arranged face-to-face in a housing 2 and connected to the other circuit components by a co-axial cable 10, 12. The housing is pressed firmly into a coupling block 14 of steel or synthetic resin by a holding-down plate 16. An oil film is provided between all abutting surfaces. Reference hds been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 664,763.
