Class 45 [Also in Group XXXIV] The strap by means of which a tyregaiter of the kind described in Specification 500,250 is secured to a wheel consists of a narrow metal strip 13 with its free end 28 provided with slots 16 for selective engagement by the lever 17 of the fastening-device carried by the other end of the gaiter. The strip 13 is shaped to the general profile of the wheel-rim and, to protect the latter, is shown provided with a sleeve 27 of leather, rubber or other soft material.
