Convention date, Feb. 15, 1947..[Class 144 (ii)] A tyre tread for use on tractor wheels is formed with separate circumferentially - spaced angular traction bars in two separate series 13,14, each bar comprising a rib 21 extending obliquely from an edge of the tread towards, but not beyond, the central-line of the tread, and an oppositelyinclined shorter rib 22 extending over the centreline. The ribs taper in cross - section from the base into which they merge by rounded fillets 17.
