Abstract

A heat-activatable adhesive composition comprises a rubbery copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile and a copolymer of vinylidene chloride and acrylonitrile in solution in an organic solvent. The two copolymers may be present in approximately equal amounts. Specified solvents are acetone and a mixture of methyl ethyl ketone and toluene. The Provisional Specification describes also adhesive compositions comprising a butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer and a copolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride.
