Class 110(iii) [Also in Group XXIX] The fuel supply to a gas turbine power plant is controlled in accordance with changes in the exhaust temperature of the gas leaving the turbine by a hydraulic actuating mechanism which has no effect on the fuel " throttle unless the temperature reaches a predetermined maximum value or changes at more than a predetermined rate. As shown a temperature responsive device 4 in the exhaust conduit 3 of the turbine 2 influences a bellows 6 connected through a floating lever 28 to the pilot valve 18, of the hydraulic actuator. The latter also comprises a follow-up piston 13, an output piston 12 with a restricted by-pass passage 49, and spring-centralized surge piston 40 hydraulically connected to opposite sides of the piston 12. The output piston 12, which also has centralising springs, is connected through rack and pinion mechanism 8, 9 to fuel " throttle ". Specification 680.209 is referred to.
