Abstract

681,933. Valve amplifying circuits; valve generating circuits. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. Jan. 15, 1951 [June 2, 1950], No. 13877/50. Class 40 (vi). [Also in Group XL (b)]. The portion of a conductor feeding high-frequency current to or deriving current from two points required to be at the same potential is folded back on the portion connecting the two points so that the voltage drop in the connecting portion is compensated as a result of the mutual inductance between the portions. In an oscillator or amplifier the parallel connected valves V<SP>1</SP>, V<SP>2</SP> are arranged in push-pull with parallel connected valves V<SP>3</SP>, V<SP>4</SP> and are associated with a tuned circuit comprising an inductor L and variable capacitor K. The voltage drop in the conductors AB and CD is compensated by folding back the portions VW and XY of the connections to the inductor. The compensating voltage induced in the conductors AB and CD may be varied by means of adjustable bridges P.
