Abstract

A roller for applying paint or like coating material of the kind comprising a rotatable cylinder mounted on a handle wherein the coating material retaining means consists of a pile fabric folded and secured around the roller. When the fabric is lamb's or sheep's skin it may be wound around the roller. In either case the fabric may be secured to the surface of the roller by means of adhesive. A tray with an inclined bottom may be used to contain the paint.
