Abstract

Flexible cleaners comprise fabric coated on both sides with a layer of particles of foamed natural or synthetic rubber bonded to the fabric by natural or synthetic rubber, the coated surfaces thus being formed with numerous protruberances. The fabric may be towelling. The coatings may comprise latex foam crumb or sponge rubber crumb embedded in a continuous layer of latex applied by spreading rollers. Pigments, spreading agents, abrasive powder may be added to the coating mixture.
