Abstract

A process for the production of a detachable clothing part, such as a collar or cuff, comprises cutting from a sheet of thermoplastic material at least one surface of which simulates woven fabric, one or more pieces of the shape of the article desired and subjecting at least the marginal portions thereof to high frequency heating and pressure. Button- or stud-holes may be stamped in the material, the edges being reinforced and moulded under heat and pressure. The article may also be moulded along the foldline.
