551,094. Finishing and pressing hosiery &c. MELLOR, BROMLEY & CO., Ltd., and FREEMAN, S. R. T. Oct. 24, 1941, No. 13716. [Classes 42 (i) and 138 (ii)] A form or shape, on to which articles or garments made of textile material can be pulled or drawn for processing by subjection to heat or heat and pressure, is made of glass and has a bevelled or equivalently formed edge to avoid the formation of lines on the finished articles or garments. As shown the edges 1a of the form 1, for use in trimming or boarding hosiery, are of V-form in cross-section and the portion 2 remote from the foot 3 is constituted by a lead holder moulded to the glass and provided with holes 4 by which it may be fixed in the processing machine and hung up when not in use; the form may be electrically or steam heated.
