680,769. Stop-motions for spinning machines. HARBECK, M., HARBECK, M., STEFFEN, H., and STEFFEN, E., (trading as HEIDENREICH & HARBECK), Nov. 23, 1949 [Oct. 17, 1949], No. 30016/49. Class 120(ii) [Also in Group XXIV] One of a pair of feed rollers, the driver, is declutched from its driving means and braked upon movement of a feeler arm due to thread breakage. The driving feed roller 4 is connected to its constantly driven driving shaft 7 by a clutch 3 (see Group XXIV). Upon breakage of the thread 18, the feeler arm 26 swings under gravity to release a pawl 16. The pawl 16 engages a lug 12 to declutch and brake the roller 4.
