Abstract

677,775. Exercising apparatus. TREAVISH, C. T., (trading as TREVOR, C. T.). Jan. 16, 1950. [Dec. 22, 1948], No. 33012/48. Class 132 (i). Exercising apparatus comprises a cross-bar 10 adapted to be supported horizontally on a vertical surface (e.g. by hooks engaging the top of a door), a longitudinal bar 13 engaging in a slot 11 in the cross-bar so that its lower end rests against the vertical surface and its upper part diverges therefrom and two straps or the like 18 suspended from the top of the longitudinal bar for supporting a handle 21 which can be grasped when the arms of the user are stretched above the head. As shown, a threaded bolt 15 passes through the bar 10 and one of the holes 16 in the bar 13 and the assembly is secured by a wing-nut 17, so that the position of the longitudinal bar is adjustable.
