819,360. Exercising devices. CADWALADR, D. W. March 21, 1957 [March 7, 1956], No. 7079/56. Class 132(1) An exercising device comprises a bracket or brackets 4, which can engage the top of a door or the like, and which carry a support member 2 to which is secured a pair of suspension members 8 carrying a bar 10 and a halter device suspended from the bar by adjustable straps 32. As shown when brackets 4 are engaged over the top of a door, the board 2 is held by a wedge 6 placed behind board 2 and adjustably secured thereto by a a bolt 18 sliding in a slot 12 therein, and a wing nut 20. All surfaces engaging the door are faced with baize. Attached to board 2 are two brackets 24 from which the adjustable straps 8 are suspended, in whose loops bar 10 is supported and prevented from moving laterally by staples 28. The halter has a chin support 30 and a head band 38.
