677,201. Television transmitters. RADIOINDUSTRIE. Aug. 15, 1950 [Oct. 27, 1949], No. 20242/50. Drawings to Specification. Class 40 (iii). In a circuit for correcting S-distortion occurring in magnetically focused television camera tubes as described, for example, in Specification 673,368, wherein by means of filter circuits a substantially sinusoidal waveform having the frequency of one component of scanning is derived from the corresponding scanning or synchronizing signals and is added to the waveform producing the other component of scanning, the filter circuits are of the resistancecapacity type only. The output from the filter circuits is applied to an adjustable resistancecapacity phase-shifting network; by means of this circuit in conjunction with the resistancecapacity filter circuits, the phasing of the sinusoidal output voltage may be made independent of changes in the scanning frequencies.
