Abstract
675,898. Kinematograph projectors. PAILLARD SOC. ANON. June 2, 1950 [June 30, 1949], No. 13826/50. Class 97 (i). Two cams, on the same shaft and parallel to the film plane, produce the feed movements of separate claws for feeding films of different widths. In the form shown, the films are fed past apertures 2, 3 by claws 9, 16 at the ends of arms 8, 15. Spring blades 12, 18 act on the ends 13, 19 of the claw arms and maintain the shoes 11, 20 thereon in contact with cams 6, 7 on a shaft 4. The film engaging movements of the claw 9 are produced by an annular face cam surrounding the cam 6, and of the claw 16 by an annular face cam formed on the end of the cam 6 and surrounding the cam 7. The arms 8, 15 are kept in contact with the face cams by their own resilience. A shutter 5, common to both projection apertures is carried on the shaft 4. The two projection apertures may be at the same side of the shaft 4.
