Abstract

672,142. Sized paper. BRITISH BEWOID CO., Ltd., and TROST, F. H. March 1, 1950, [March 25, 1949,] No. 8240/49. Class 96. Machine-glazed paper is made with a sizing agent comprising a dispersion of a rosin or a mixture of rosins of melting points above 100‹ C., the rosins being hardened by lime or by adding up to 5 per cent of calcium resinate. Higher drying temperatures are thus practicable. Kaolin &c. may be included in the dispersion. Specifications 335,902, [Class 121], 536,874, [Group V], and 549,244, [Group III], are referred to.
