Abstract
671,765. Notice boards. LARGELIUS, L. G. V. April 20, 1950 [April 20, 1949], No. 9738/50, Class 3(ii) A notice board comprises two frames 1, 2 having glass plates 16 and hinged together, each frame having on one of its free edges a swingably mounted notice holder 4 which may be selectively swung inwardly to rest against its respective frame or swung outwardly to provide, with the frames, four display panels. The holders 4 have channelled top and bottom edges for supporting notices and are pivoted on pins having an eye which is screwed to lugs 8 at the corners of the frames 1, 2. The lugs 8 which do not support pivot pins carry wire members 21 by which the holders 4 are locked to the frames 1, 2. The holders may be pivotably mounted on any of the free edges of the frames. Screwed to the free edges of the frames 1, 2 are eyes 26, to which spring lugs 29, 31 of one or more sign carriers 43 may be clipped. The lugs of the sign carrier are pivotably mounted so that the carriers may be arranged as required. The sign carriers may be double sided. The signboard may also be pivotably mounted by means of brackets 46 which co-operate with the eyes 26. When the holders 4 are locked to the frames 1, 2, the outer edges of the frames may be swung together and locked by means of a threaded sleeve and pin which engage holes 14 in the frame edges.
