671,636. Dynamo-electric machines. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. Aug. 8, 1945 [Aug. 21, 1944], No. 28526/47. Divided out of 671,632. Drawings to Specification. Class 35. In a Selsyn with some dummy slots in one member, the slots are equally spaced and the two members are selectively skewed by a slot pitch. The rotor may be two pole with an 70 degree pole face and the stator may have a Y-connected winding in three slots of a nineslot core, the skew being 40 degrees. The salient pole faces may taper away from their centres to give an non-uniform air gap. Specifications 469,026, 537,514 and 671,649 are referred to.
