671,317. Punnets or boxes. PAGE, J. E. Dec. 28, 1949 [Nov. 10, 1949], No. 33127/49. Class 18 A punnet or berry box having vertical side walls comprises a body formed from a single blank scored to provide side walls 11, a top band 15 that is folded outwardly and secured to the side walls by staples or adhesive for reinforcing purposes, and tabs 12 that are folded within the lower end of the body to enter and support a separate slotted base 14. The band 15 also spaces the side walls from adjoining boxes to permit the circulation of air. The side walls may be perforated. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 also shows a blank for a punnet with inclined walls. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
