670,593. Electrode materials. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Oct. 26, 1946 [Nov. 7, 1945], No. 29508/48. Divided out of 670,554. Class 39 (i). A secondary electron-emitting electrode has a coating of refractory oxides which is at least 1.2x10<SP>-4</SP> inches thick and contains a substantial proportion of alkaline earth oxide, whereby it is rendered electrically conductive. The addition to the alkaline earth oxide may be magnesium oxide, aluminium oxide or beryllium oxide. Otherwise the subject-matter is as described in Specification 670,554. Specifications 601,966 and 670,582 also are referred to.
