664,753. Garment - measuring appliances. EASTMAN KODAK CO. Jan. 14, 1949 [Jan. 16, 1948] , No. 1125/49. Class 141. An apparatus for the use of tailors measuring the inside length of a person's leg comprises a base 13 upon which the customer stands astride an arm 22 on a vertically adjustable tube 15. The tube 15 slides upon a central column 11 and is urged upwardly thereon by a suspended weight 36. The tube 15 carries an index arm 27 moving over a fixed scale 23. A spring - actuated catch 38 maintains the tube 15 at its lowest position when not in use.
