659,120. Tailors' measuring apparatus. ARMENGOU, J. D. March 30, 1949, No. 8690. [Class 141] A tailors' measuring appliance comprises a platform 1 mounted on a spindle 3 and a vertical screen 5 carried by an arm 4 which is rotatably mounted on the spindle. The screen 5 is preferably transparent and may comprise vertical and horizontal numbered elastic cords 7, 8 which are fastened to rings slidable on the vertical sides of a frame 6 and are attached at equal distances apart to strips of cloth. In use, the client stands on the platform and the co-ordinate measurements corresponding to the clients principal dimensions are taken.
