Abstract

664,300. Curtain rods. CLAY, A., CLAY, A. T., and HOLMES, W. A. July 14, 1950. [July 16, 1949] No. 18766/49. Class 52 (v). [Also in Group XXV] Curtain rods for cubicles are connected by a knuckle jointed hinge which is connected by a pivoted link to a fixing plate. As shown, each rod is attached to a connector A, B or C each having a socket 1 the connector A having a projecting lug 2 and connector B having a pair of lugs 3 which embrace the lug 2 and connector C having two lugs 4 which engage the exteriors of the lugs 3. The lugs 2, 3, 4 are connected by a pivot pin 6 the head of which is pivotally jointed to a tubular link member 9 the other end of which is pivoted to the fixing plate 13.
