651,830. Turbine blades. POWER JETS (RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT), Ltd., and SMITH, A. G. Oct. 28, 1947, No. 7506/50. Divided out of 651,787. [Class 110 (iii)] A turbine blade has several longitudinal cavities through which a cooling fluid is circulated and some or all of cavities contain a metal insert. The insert may be a rod 28 provided with a helical fin 29 or radial fins 30 as shown in Figs. 2 and 3 respectively. Specification 651,787 is referred to.
