Abstract
646,413. Conveyers. BAKER PERKINS, Ltd. Aug. 19, 1948, No. 21902. Convention date, April 2. [Class 78 (i)] [Also in Group VI] In dough-depositing mechanism of the kind described in Specification 631,995, rectifying means is provided for straightening misshapen dough pieces during their passage from a moulder to a panner. Each dough piece drops off the mould board 1 on to a pivoted member 2 and is retained thereon and straightened by a vertical abutment plate 2a until the member 2 is swung downwards by the following mechanism. The member 2 is pivoted to the framework 4 by a pin 3, an arm 5 on which is pivoted at 6 to an adjusting bolt 7 screwed into the upper end of a tube 9. The lower end of the tube 9 is closed by a plug 10 through which passes a rod 11. Springs 18, 20 surround this rod and bear on the plug 10 and collars 17, 19 secured to the rod. The lower end of the rod is fixed adjustably to the block 12 which is pivoted to an arm 14 on a rock-shaft 15. This shaft forms part of the assembly that actuates the pan stop.
