[Class 108(iii)] [Also in Group XVIII] In a hydraulic weighbridge, horizontal deflection of the load platform 5 relative to the diaphragm 8 of supporting hydraulic capsules 1 is accommodated by interposed resilient connections each comprising rubber blocks 20 interposed between either recessed face of an intermediate member 21 and cup members 17, 19 secured respectively to the diaphragm and platform. Peripheral grooves 22 in the rubber blocks accommodate the horizontal movement which is accompanied by tilting of the intermediate members 21. Height adjustment may be provided by threading the stem 18 of the cup member 17 into a pillar 12 on the diaphragm, the upper cup member 19 being temporarily unbolted from the platform when making the adjustment.
