[Class 55 (M)] A device for securing a fractionating- tower bubble-cap 8 to a vapour riser 1 or like tube comprises a shank 5 having substantially at right angles thereto a head member 4 the ends of which enter oppositely disposed holes 3 of the tube wall, and a support member 10, in spaced relation to the member.4, adapted to lie over the tube rim 11 to support the device in a vertical position. Fastening-means, such as nut 14 engaging threads 13 of the shank secures the cap, and inclined faces 7 of the enlargements 6 of member 4 may locate the device centrally in the tube.
