[Class 44] [Also in Group XXII] A fastener for attaching a beading strip 10 to an apertured support 16 comprises a member 18 having a base 22, spring arms 24, 26 over which the beading is forced and attachment arms 30, 32 adapted to project through the aperture 20 in the support. The arm 30 is formed from a strip 28 pressed out of the base and projected upwardly, then bent back on itself and formed at the bottom with a hook. The other arm 32 projects downwardly at an angle. After the fastener is applied to the support, as shown in Fig. 2, and before the beading is fitted, the arm 28 is bent to engage the hook with the edge of the opening as shown in Fig. 3 and by cooperation with the other arm 32 to secure the fastener in place.
