641,065. Seats &c. TALBOYS MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and MAY, W. E. Sept. 20, 1948, No. 24521. [Class 52 (ii)] In seats &c. of the kind in which flexible seats and backs are secured in position by means of screws passing through the tubular frame members 1, 2 and engage tapped apertures 11 in rods 9, 10 carrying the flexible seat and back material, rubber &c. sleeves 13 are arranged around the screws 4 as shown in place of the usual lock nuts, the sleeves being compressed as the screws draw the rods 9, 10 to tension the seat 5 and back 6.
