Abstract
641,048. Tissue dispensing packages. DOW CORNING CORPORATION. June 15, 1948, No. 16136. Convention date, July 16, 1947. [Class 94(i)] A booklet for dispensing tissues comprises a cover 3 of rectangular shape provided with a fold 4 adjacent one end thereof and defining a flange 8, and a fold 5 located at a position midway between the flange 8 and the opposite end of the cover, a stack of tissues 9 of rectangular shape positioned within the cover 3 with one end of the stack of tissues 9 between the body of the cover 3 and the flange 8, a resilient sheet 10 positioned between the stack of tissues and the flange, said flange 8, said resilient sheet 10, said stack of tissues 9, and the body of the cover 3 being secured together by fastening means 11 whereby to define a pocket 7 between the flange 8 and the resilient sheet 10, said resilient sheet being of a length to extend to a point spaced from said flange, said tissues being of a length to extend beyond the end of the said resilient sheet and when in position folded over said resilient sheet to a point short of said flange, and said cover 3 being of a length to extend into said pocket 7 when folded over the tissues and said resilient sheet. The tissue sheets may be perforated near the outer edge of the flange 8.
