Abstract

621.221. Filing papers. BOSSART, A. July 26, 1946, No. 22329. [Class 146 (i)] A folder for loose sheets comprises a pocket formed from a back sheet a and an L-shaped frame part b, the outer edge of the vertical part of the frame being united to or integral with the adjacent edge of the back sheet and the outer edge of the horizontal part of the frame being united to the adjacent edge of the back sheet by a folding wall section. As shown in Fig. 1, the sheet a and frame b are formed from a single folded sheet and a separate cover c is provided. In a modification the cover c is an extension of the other vertical edge of the sheet a and may be tucked under the frame b. As shown in Fig. 2, the frame b is separate from the sheet a and tongues b<SP>1</SP> pass through slots to be secured by a strip of tape, the cover c being a continuation of the sheet a. In a modification a short flap is also provided as an extension of the other vertical edge of the sheet a and is tucked under the frame b. As shown in Fig. 7, a series of pockets, formed as in Fig. 2, are joined together, an extension a<SP>1</SP> of the sheet a serving to secure the tongues b<SP>1</SP> of the pocket above.
