[Class 103 (i)] [Also in Group XXII] A light metal alloy brake drum which may be a casting has a braking surface formed by a hard plating of chromium, or chromium with an underlayer of nickel, deposited on a suitably formed part of the drum so that the braking surface is integral with the drum.
